lifting my 2wd 7700 series

lifting my 2wd 7700 series

Hey everyone.... I am new to the board, and am already in need of some help. First off, I have about 2k to spend including new tires, wheels, and the lift itself. I have no idea which way to go. I know there are coil spacers for the front to level it out, and then I could put some 33 inch Mud Dawgs under it.... Or I could do that, plus add a 3 inch body lift and maybe fit some 35's under there. I'd probably stay with 33's tho unless I went up to a 6 inch lift. Just because I HAVE 2 grand to spend on it, doesnt mean I WANT to.... I would LOVE to get up to 6 inches of lift on it, but have no idea what to get. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure if the suspension lift kits for the standard F-150's will fit you truck but you can at least go witht 2 inch Daystar spacers and a 3 inch body lift.

what about a spindle lift?

shop wisely on wheels and tires and you should have about 5-600 for the lift.

Wandell I was hoping you would reply. You always have good stuff to say about the 7700 series. Can you point me in the direction of those Daystar spacers?

Just about anyone that sells truck accessories (4Wheel Parts, Desert Rat, etc.) should have them. While you are installing them, I'd go ahead and install a set of adjustable camber bolts (they are about $40 at most parts stores). Some trucks need them to get the alignment within specs, some don't. Since they are pretty chead, I'd go ahead and install them. Personally, I'd add a 3 inch body lift and go with 33's. This will put you at about the same height as a stock 4x4 with the torsion bars cranked up.

Thats probably what Ill do in a few weeks. Im going to go ahead and put on the spacers now. I order the spacers for an F150 2wd right? Not a 99 F250 light duty or whatever?

I'm not postive but I believe both will use the same spacers.

Went to Autozone and got a price on the Daystar spacers and it was 150 dollars for the set...... Hell no. So I got online and looked around and found them brand new for 39 dollars!
