Lifts & front tires cupping

I posted this yesterday in the "tires & wheels" area but I wanted to see if I could get additional feedback from you "Lifted" folks.

I spoke with a gentleman yesterday that has an '04 with a lift and 35 ProComp Extreme AT's; he commented that these newer F-150 trucks really wear out the front tires prematurely do the the suspension. He says he goes through a new set of tires every 18 to 20K. He showed me what he was talking about, and you could actually see the cupping. He says that even rotating has not helped the issue as the cupping eventually gets so bad that the back tires feel like they bounce. He also said that he has tried several other brands of tires with the same results.

I am curious if anyone else out there is seeing the same issue?

Thanks for your time.

definitely dont have the same issue, and i dont know anybody with that issue.

i have 25k on my 315/70/17's bfg at's and expect at least 15k miles more and maybe get 50k outta them. im at about half tread right now and i do burnouts occasionally

my tires are wearing evenly front and rear. does he rotate his tires? that could be part of the problem.

his alignment is probably off *just* enough to wear the tires weird w/o producing a pull on the road. its possible, trust me.

Thanks guys for the feedback!
I am glad to hear that you have not had the same issue. I was hoping it was not a cronic problem.
