they have to have more clearance for the front diff and transfer case.

Normally a 2wd sits 2-3" lower than a 4x4

Id do a levelin kit 2" and a 3" body lift + 34's

Or just a suspension lift and 35's but its gonna cost more than 1k

i looked some stuff up for you

Honestly the 7.5" Fabtech lift is the BEST lift made for your truck but these will also work

Well if your truck is 2wd, i got my 7.5" fabtech for exactly $1000, and you can more than likely find one for a little bit cheaper on ebay most likely..and i installed it myself so no extra for install...always better to do a suspension lift if you do a little off-roading..

PS- the springtech susp. trimble found is prob a good choice for your budget..fits 35's just like mine does..and ive always wanted to see pics of a truck with one on it..

This is the '03 F150 i traded for my Super Duty. It has a 3" body with 315/70/16 BFG ATs. Someone near Destin owns the truck now.

Like the looks of that. Mine will be very similar, with KM2's instead of KO's.
Should have mine done next week!!

Just occured to me. How do I re-aim the headlights?
F150rider, thanks for the pic. That sure looks tall for a 3" body lift!

Well you gotta figure most people that do a body lift, they put a leveling kit on first then you get the body lift, and you got yourself 5" of lift,

the first 2 pics are just the body lift but the sig pic is 3" body lift + 6" Fabtech on 36" Irok`s! just didnt wanna confuse you lol, the easiest way I`ve found to check the headlight adjustment is to pull up close to a wall with the lights on and then you can adjust them so they are the same, also there is little black **** behind the headlight that you adjust the headlight up/down right/left.

i love the look of your truck, thats what im looking for in a few weeks. so a 3" body lift and bigger tire will give me that much of a lift...that looks so much higher than just a 3" bd lift

o and i was just taking a look at ur album and relized ur a 4wd. im only 2wd, and from what i hear theres about 2.5" difference between our trucks, so even iff i were to get that body lift 3" id still be short you 2-3inch, plus my tires are way smaller. wow that bummed me out.

thanks for lookin that up. i really like that kit. do you know any good reliable plces that will install that for me and what that might cost? i know the labor cost goes up for a susp. lift. the install for a bd was like 450 at socal susp.

f150rider, I was just looking at your 3" bl pics. I'm way excited, almost nervous as to how much lift I will get. Doing the 3" body lift, cranking torsion bars to level it off, add-a-leaf to the back. I figure I should be seeing 4.5 inches of lift minimum from that, plus going from 32inch tires to 35's. My wife is going to ***** when she sees it!!

Next week, baby! Going to do my tbars this weekend, take it to Anderson Ford in Lincoln, and have them do the work. JD 790 will be supervising I never have the time, plus I could never pull anything like this off by myself. I have to admit, I kind of stole your idea though

well if the goal of having a bad *** truck is accomplished then thats all that matters...what tires you going to be running?? im having trouble between 33's and 35's..ik 35's would look better but im worried bout the drivetrain...i also found some 33 inch mud grapps for 300 bucks with about half tread, but would really like 35 inch cooper stt's....i hate decisions lol
