Is Your Lifted Truck Garaged?
My unlifted 2wd doesn't even get to be garaged lol, only time it is garaged is when we are out of town. When I pull it in I cant walk around to the door into the houe without walking back outside. Theres about 5" to spare length wise total or so. Close call
x2. The next house I have is going to have 1 large bay at least and at least 2 other bays. The only thing I hate about our house (besides missing out on Obama's free hand-out $) is not having enough garage space and not enough yard to realistically build a bigger one on
lol my wife took over the garage. she decided since it gets cold here during the winter that she should park in the garage so she can take the kids in the morning without going outside with them.
So I cleared just enough space for her car and filled the rest with dirbikes and tools

Sounds like our trucks have been talking to each other
I actually took my garage requirements into consideration before I did my truck. In the end, it was a non-negotiable requirement that the truck still fit!! I ended up with only a 4" lift and 33" tires to meet that requirement. Even then, I got lucky as my truck only fits because the driveway up to the garage is sloped. By the time the rear tires are to the top of the slope, the cab is inside. If I had a straight and level driveway, my truck would most likely not fit.
This requriement sucks sometimes as we were shopping for a new truck a while back. I had to rule out a super duty because they are all too long. So, I'm stuck getting a 150 to meet garage requirements.

Just curious how many on here with lifted trucks are still squeezing into their garages. I thought when I got my 6" lift and 35's my days of parking in my garage were over.
I can still get in with a couple inches to spare.
I'm not sure it would with the moonroof tilted open.

My f150 and my wife's mustang both live outside. My 93 explorer lives inside. Once I get it finished i'm sure i'll have to air down the tires and maybe even throw a ratchet strap on to suck the suspension down enough to get it in. Hopefully I won't have to do the ratchet strap thing...goal it to keep it as low as possible.
My door is 7'. My truck barely clears going in. I had to have my wife eye it as I slowly pulled in. It was scary first couple times. I make damn sure my moon roof is lowered.
