I just bought 3" leveling kit, and a 3 inch block in the back to replace the 2 inch block. I am worried about the joints on the 4x4 08 150 in the front. Does anyone know how much faster they wear out? Miles please? How many miles can you get out of them?
I bought them and I really don't want to pay a restocking fee. I even hear people having problems with the 2.5 level. DARN!! Help me out, I need first hand experience people telling me that have actually done it.

 

I couldn't tell you how many miles I got exactly, but I had the 2.5 on mine and with my terrible luck both of my upper ball joints went to crap after a year. My drivers side first and a month later the passenger side went. Some people though have no problems and have been running thier leveling kits for a long time and its working good for them. Its hard to say really.

 

i would get a 2 1/2" leveling kit. i heard the 3" makes your 4wd bind up to much.

 

pay the restocking fee, you'll save money in the end. there is no set amount of miles where there are gonna wear out, it all depends. personally i would stick to a 2" max

 

i have had my 3" kit for about 2 years and about 20k miles with no problems yet and i just had everything checked.
