Oh trust me.. i thought long and hard if i should keep it or not. But i figured the hardest part of it will be extending some wires. And its a nice piece of mind knowing its still there.

Very cool project you have going, I just finished my build up 2 weeks ago http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...ead.php?t=6560 , and yours is certainly going farther than I did with teardown.

Just one question, what is the final goal for this truck? Show, Strip, street?

I would say more of a Show/Street. Its gonna look good. But im not going to turn it into a trailer queen. Thats been one of my quirks.. its gonna be driven.

No im not gonna do an L transplant. Im gonna do a Navi transplant. With a couple of turbos

FYI, ABS modules tend to be located as close as possible to the brake master cylinder. I don't know all the details but I've been involved in some underhood design meetings where the brake engineers insist on having the brake lines on the latest modules no longer than 18 inches to the master cylinder.

You may find your system doing funny things if the lines are too long. In that case you'd be better off without ABS.

Thats odd. But im sure there is a reason for it. Ive placed my ABS right behind the cab mount that is below your feet while driving. So it is a little further from the master cylinder. But, not alot.

I guess when shes put back together and if the ABS goes crazy ill just yank it off.

The way I see it if it works with spare parts left over, you just engineered a more efficient design.

Fast - any info on your Navi Turbo set up? or is it too early.

Or you can sell the extra parts on Ebay.. Maybe someone else will know what they are for!

Yeah its too early. I need to hit the lottery... Id love to do the engine build while ive got the truck apart. But im afraid im gonna have to drop the 4.6 back in for a while. Im going to go ahead and install everything now that i will need for the new engine while its easy to do.
