What kind of paint to use for shocks?

I want to paint my front shocks and the coil (is the coil called the strut?). Anyway, what kind of paint should I use to do this? I'm assuming the coil will not be static so the paint will have to flexible? I don't know what I'm talking about, help me out.

Hi-temp engine enamal will usually hold up better than regular spray paint. I'm not sure about it's flexibility however.

Powdercoating is the only thing I can think of to change the color and not affect flexability.
