x2. any wider than 12.5" might cause the tires to wear awkwardly. And the approach your taking to lower the truck sounds like it should work, I would do the torsion bars first and see how it sits though before you buy a new block for the rear.

305 65 17's, equivalent to 33x12.50 is what my max tire size limit would be?

hey, i uncranked the t bars all the way down. she's got that rake now, but i see i can put in a smaller block in the rear and bring her back level again jus a little lower. some really useful advise guys, thanks.

very noticeable difference in the change in height of the front from cranking those tbars

Even though you cranked your torsion bars down, you could still probably fit a 315/70r17 which is basically a 35x12.50. You have other options too, like a 305/70r17 which is about a 34x12.50r17, and the size you mentioned 305/65r17. Any of those tires should fit fine on a stock 17" wheel, but it'll be up to you on how tall you'll want it.

i was going to say. i have the stock wheels on my truck still, and i am running a 315/75/R16 with no problems. it still gives it that mean stance and it is not inaccessible for others to get in. by the way, not to try and advertise a product, but i have the mastercraft courser m/t's and will never bey another tire. 30,000 miles on them and they still look like new.

ok, today i am really depressed about uncranking the t-bars
just drove it for a quick spin for everything to settle down
i kinow i have to get an alignment, but i am waiting for new tires i ordered
the ride is extremely hard, every bump no matter how small results in metal to metal sound, left wheel is squeeling because out of line

did i uncrank too much?
what is this metal to metal sound on the slightest bump?
man i just might crank those tbars back to where they were.
my ride before was smooth, straight and comfortable.

please advise
