I got a fabtech suspension lift installed last week. Two days after picking it up my truck was making some bad noises. Took it to the dealership to have it looked at and they told me they wouldn't touch it until my suspension was fixed. None of the bolts were tightened. No telling what else could be messed up or broken. I am PISSED. I was told by several people that this was a reputable shop. Any chance the bolts came lose by themselves or is this just gross incompetence? What should I do to ensure that everything is okay? Just spend more money at a different shop? This is bull****.
Any ideas how I should handle this that doesn't involve a gun?

I live in Thibodaux which is about 45 mins southwest of N.O. The shop is in Labadieville about 10 minutes up the bayou towards Baton Rouge.
And i agrree with this. Go back to the shop, just hope nothing breaks on the way there.
x2 and GL.

im assuming what happened was for alot of those bolts you need to tighten them after the truck sits on the ground. they probably put everything together tighten what was said to be tightened and forgot them rest once they let it down.
that sucks dude, i would whip out a nice socket set and some muscle and tighten that stuff ASAP
why not? i would say they would BECAUSE it has ONLY been two days since they have put it on!

Call the shop and tell them what has happened and ask them if they want to have it
towed in or risk a lawsuit in case you wreck on the way in if something breaks loose.
You have the receipt, it's only been 2 days. They fix it or report them to the BBB. Real
simple fix. I myself would tighten them myself and raise hell with them. I would not risk
yours or anyone elses lives on it.

X2 on what everyone has said. Sounds to me like they got ahead of themselves. I would call them up and tell them the story, see what there reaction is and then start to threaten. I have found it's alot easier to be nice up front and then get rude. Sometimes you just can't help it though. Best of luck though. If they dont spread the word. Word of mouth can really hurt a buisness.
