6" Fabtech delivered

Finaly recieved my 6" Fabtech lift delivered yesterday. I can not believe how heavy these things are. I believe the total wieght of the 3 boxes was around 315 lbs.

With new 18x9's and some 35's will probaly add at least another 300 - 500lbs.

What year and model truck is the lift for? What kind of fabtech lift is it? And what did you pay for it? I'm shopping for one right now.

mine truck is a 2008 screw xlt 4x4... the lift is the basic system, and i payed $1060.00(new in box) delivered from a guy off of craigslist.

Although i will be sending him another $100... shipping cost a little more then expected.

Just a side note: when buying from a private party off craigslist, i would try having the seller send items C.O.D. (Payment on delivery) it only cost $9.00 more. I feel this helps protect both parties in the transaction.

i personally did not want to send over a grand to some guy i did not know, and never recieve the product.

The seller did not want to send before payment.

with C.O.D. you get to see the items, and ups collects the payment for seller.

Did the lift come with shocks? If not then would you recommend getting shocks as well? What are the pros and cons of shocks?

I can't seem to find a fabtech lift for my truck for less than $2k. Just not sure how I feel about craigslist but if that's the only way I can get a deal like that I might have to check it out.

actually i think they got bought out. companies these days would rather rape 10 people on their product than sell 100 at a good price. if it was me i'd rather see my lift or rims on a 100 trucks vs 10, free advertising.
