am i due for new leafs? pic included

my rear leaf springs are "walking out from under neath each other" if that is the best way to explain it, thats why i have the picture.

as you can see all the leafs are not directly under neath one another
the truck has 105K on it

no, that little bit is nothing to worry about and quite common even on brand new trucks. if it really bothers you...you can grab a hammer and hit it untill flush. there should be a clamp at the front that keeps them from comming out any further.

alright thanks, i was just wondering of if they were working there way out, im not sure if it has the clamps on there or not, i would have to look again

Those leafs are gnarly looking!!!!!!

mine are almost like that. time to get under there with a wire brush and some black spray paint! its what i did and looks alot better

loosen the u-bolts FIRST !!!!! Then hammer to correct location, tighten down snug. Good to go. It happens. I correct mine every so often. Basic maintenance.

yah as soon as i get some time, a lot of the under body needs to be rattle canned


thanks for the help guys as soon as it warms up ill hammer then back into place
