Leveling Kit & 35" Tires

I'm looking at putting the 2" autospring leveling kit up front with a 1-1/2" add a leaf in the back on my '06 F150 Lariat. Then going to a 35x12.5R18 tire on my stock rims.

Does anyone have photos/recommendations regarding this setup so I can see how it would look both from the side & front?

Thanks in advance.

Several members have that combo using oem 17, 18 and 20 inch wheels. I'm sure they will post some pics for you.

Here's one of my fav's. Should be almost exactly what you're looking for.

Here's another with a 2.5" autospring, and a 3" block.

FYI, if you don't want the rear quite so hi, skyjacker also makes a 1" add-a-leaf, or you could swap the factory block for a 3" block.

I love the look of the 2.5" autospring with the 3" block. Where is the best place to shop for them online? Also does the lariat and the fx4 have the same ride height. Just want to be sure if I buy the products mine turns out the same.

I just realized you are new on the forums. Search bilstein 5100 on the forum. For $400 shipped you can get 4 bilstein 5100 shocks, and the front shocks can be setup for 2" lift. The front shocks will get you 1-2" of extra wheel travel over factory shocks.
I just had my bilsteins put on yesterday and they are great, would highly recommend them.
Another thing, I've heard that the Autospring 3" block is weak and will start to crack in the corners because it is a hollow block. I think I may use a skyjacker add-a-leaf instead of a block on mine. I'm waiting to get the tires on and make sure it fits in the garage okay before I order it though
I don't believe there is any difference in ride height between any of the 4x4 models.
If you still want the autospring stuff I believe most people are getting them from ebay.
Also, if you haven't found from searching, 35x12.50's on stock wheels will rub the lower control arm at full steering lock, so you'll have to adjust your steering in tight spaces.

Just bought the 2-1/2" front leveling parts off eBay before reading your reply. I guess I'm going down the path of the 3" rear block and hope for the best. I won't be doing offroading just want the look. I appreciate all your help.

Steering or Braking Mods

With the 2.5" level up front and 3" blocks in the back do I need to extend any brake lines or any lines/cables up front?

Or is an alignment all I need and I'm set?

Thanks,
Matt

Does anyone know what the vehicle height is after this application? Will it fit in a standard garage? With my luck it will probably have to sit outside.

I have the 2" AS kit w/ 35" tires and it fits in my garage along with my other car with ease. The height is not an issue at all. It's the length of the truck that's a problem.

My supercrew fits with room to spare on top with the 2" leveling kit, and will still have room with 35's. Lengthwise, there is about 5" to spare.
However my driveway is sloped down right outside the garage door so it may help a little getting in the door.
With 35's and 2.5" autospring, the cab shouldn't be more than 4" taller than stock.

Side photo

Do you have a photo from the side of your truck? I'd like to see the fitment of the 35" tires with your level kit. Do you have anything lifting the back or is it stock?

Thanks,
Matt

Go here for pictures of mine.

With the BFG KM2 35x12.50R18's on stock 18" wheels, I have absolutely no rubbing so far, lock to lock.
Tires with wider side lugs will probably rub in some spots while turning.
The front wheel well is 1/4" lower than the rear, and the body lines are 1" lower in the front. So it has a tiny bit of rake still. I may swap my block for a 3" or get a 1" add-a-leaf.
