which body lift?

I have decided I am going to do my body lift first being that I dont have enough money for my axle saved up and after looking at the prices, i decided it would be worth the little set back to go ahead and do it now. So here is my issue: i have found both of these body lift kits on Summit racing. Both are 3" lift, both have bumper mounts and steering extension, and both have the exact same instruction manual. so whats the difference? One is Performance Accessories and the Other is Summit. Has anyone had a problem with either one of these? The Summit one is about $60 cheaper and doesnt appear to be any different. Let me know what yall think...should i go with the Summit one? Here are the links:

Performance Accesories: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I am really leaning towards the Summit one because it would be nice to save that extra money...every little bit helps

hmmm...well they both seem to be the exact same...same rating per square inch and everything. has anyone heard anything bad about the Summit lift? or is Performance accessories just a popular brand?

BDS also makes a body lift. idnc i believe has it.

i would stick with the BDS or PA body lift, just for knowing they are good body lifts and you wont have to worry about it the safety issue of it. i would feel safer using a brand i know is good and not cut corners on safety, not saying the Summit isn't just never knew anybody running there kit

yea thats a good point...from the pictures and descriptions they appear to be the exact same...i guess $60 isnt too much to sacrafice for assurance that it is good quality.

has anyone put the Summit on their truck with good or bad results? or know someone who had it on their truck? Thanks for the input guys.

I've installed 4 Performance Accessories body lifts and have never had a problem. I'd go with the PA kit.

Ive ran 3 PA body lifts and have had zero problems with any of them, i helped my cousin put one on his ranger and he had zero problems with it as well.

In my eyes Performance Accessories is the only body lift manufacturer.

ok so your right at klein high. im in windrose up on spring cypress.

honestly i would stick to PA between the two choices you have given. its tried and proven. $60 isn't that much, a couple shops you can go talk to which i have found really knowledgable is cutten customs (which im starting not to like) and texas truck works on 2978 near conroe (about a 15 minute drive for you probly) their site is http://www.texastruckworks.com/
