Brush Guard w/ 3in. Body Lift?

Is it possible to keep your brush guard on the front of your truck after a 3in body lift is installed. I understand that the tow hooks are moved after the lift and was just wondering if there was anyway to keep the brush guard on.

You will probably have to fab up some brackets to have it mount correctly. This is one of the downsides to body lifts...

Gotcha. Is that a avery difficult thing to do? And also, is there anybody on here that is already running this? If so, i'd love to see it cause i'd really hate to have to get rid of my brush guard since it has hardly been 6 months since i've had it put on...

I have a 99 F150 with a 3" body lift and a brush gaurd.

All i did was put the brackets onto the frame as normal then put the front bolt though the hole and welded the rest of the brackets to the brush gaurd. I dont have any close up pics of how it is, its strong enough to hold me and another 200#'s so im happy with it untill i get my custom front bumper.

It doesnt sit exactly like its supposed to but no body has been able to tell. It sits alittle lower and alittle more outward than stock. heres some pics to see.

It will fit. Depending on the grille guard you buy you might have to trim the grille guard itself so it doesn't rub your upper bumper. As for the two upper brackets you can custom fab a bracket to mount them or just don't mount them.
