Rebuilding Front End

I get all sorts of knocks and squeaks from the front ifs on my truck.. Has anybody completely gone through the front end and rebuilt it (bearings, bushings, etc.?) What all'd ya do?

usually around here, when we tear apart our suspensions, we lift them, and put them back together.

seriously though, you're probably overdue for some new ball joints, and perhaps tie rod ends. some new shocks would probably be good, too.

Idler arm
Pitman arm
Sway bar end links

LCA bushings should be okay if you havent been abusing it too hard.

Ya mean they are worn out after only 162,000 miles?!

But seriously I was gonna go through and do all of that sometime.. Just checkin with you guys on what all I should do. I had a new idler arm put on because it was wore out and knocking something fierce (and I already have new shocks on front), but when it warms up i'll most likely finish up the rest of the list.

If you decide you want to do the bushings, then get those nice poly-urethane bushings, should last pretty much forever
