Question 5100 h1,h0 35's?

i have a couple of questions, is there a difference between the bilstein 5100's ending with H1 and H0, i just received them today, backs are H0, fronts are H1, also seems to be some conflict as to whether the front will sit higher than the back at the 2inch setting, don't want to install them than want to go to the 1inch setting(reinstall), also can i run 35's or just stick with 33-34's.
trucks going in the shop on monday, I don't know what to do, any help would be great, thanks!

Do they even have a 1" setting? I keep hearing conflicting information. Some say there is only stock height and 2" height. But I've read on some websites that some of them can be adjusted in 1", or some in 3/4" increments. I wondering if some other companies ordered them from bilstein with different adjustment slots...
I have seen lots of people run 35's with the 2" 5100's. One person I know runs 35x13" tires on stock 18's and gets rubbing on the frame at full lock, but I heard that with 12.5's it's normally not an issue.

the reason some of them have the 2 settings instead of the 3 is because the 5100s from top gun customz come from some lift kit and they only have the 0 and 2 settings if you order from almost anywhere else they have 3 settings

If you're planning on 34's-35's run the 2" setting, if your gonna run 33's you could get by with the 1" setting depending on wheel choice. You'll sit level with the 2" setting and should be hair low in front on the 1" setting (obviously).

Front Part # BE5-C300-H0
Rear Part # BE5-C301-H0

these are the part numbers on my bilstein 5100 adjustables and they are silver/zinc in color. front has 3 settings: 0", 1", 2". you adjust this by moving the metal sleeve into its respective snap-ring groove. the rear does not have any groove, but it can accomodate up to 1" of lift (aka block). my reg cab 2wd sits leveled on oem 20 with 33" terras and of course, it rubs on full lock. no trimming required on mine and i even have the harley valance; it only rubs against the upper control arm.

What year truck, is it a 4x4 and what wheels and tires are you planning to run? Maybe we can help out a little better!

it's a 04 supercab 4X4(FX4),studded 275/70/17 on for winter right now, going to use factory 18rims, looking at a 285/75/18 toyo mtr(35.1x11.6)instead of 35x12.5's, thinking narrower might help with rubbing issues, is anyone running this size of tire with 2inch bilsteins? are there rubbing issues?

I think with those tires you will have a little more room to clear the upper control arm as opposed to the wider tire. If they rub it will be minor. They ought to look great when you put them on.

Definitely post pics when you get them installed, tires too. I didn't know toyo made a 285/75/18. My calculator says it's a 34.8 x 11.2 (not much different). Might look like a pizza cutter a little but would give you height and less likely to rub.
I'm most likely going with the Bilsteins but can't decide on a tire size. I want a 35x12.50 but don't want to deal with rubbing. 305x65x18's would work well but the only thing in that size is BFG A/T and I want something more aggressive. Tire selection with 18's sucks

rubbing is annoying in tight places such as parking lots or making tight turns. id highly suggest going for 11.2-11.5 wide tires, but im getting the hang of not rubbing with my 12.5. Just gotta pay attention to how much you turn your steering wheel before making full lock!

shock install will be done sometime tommorow, i'll post pics, won't be with new tires until end of march or start of april or so when the winters come off, hopefully there will be more choices and sizes by then, toyo open country at's and mt's were the only ones i could find in that size, also depends whether im working intown or on the road, 35" mudders with 1000-2000km per week just doesn't make sense, it'll be 33 at's then. i got time to think about tires, lol. arizona or florida sounds good right now(-46C) outside here

shocks are installed, but there was a bit of a communication issue, so when i went to pick up the truck much to my surprise it was still sitting at factory height, probably won't bother lifting it until summer tires go on now

i suggest you get it corrected now if you did mention to adjust the setting in the beginning. if you do decide later to adjust and go to the same shop, they'll probably charge you, of course unless you have access to a spring compressor and do it yourself.
