Question Can I?!?!? HELP!!

Hey PLEASE help.

I need to know if i can run these rims with ONLY a 4 inch lift or could i with a 6inch? ive been told with some 6inch lifts you can run factory backspacing and mine have 6.288?? isnt that pretty close or no? could i get a spacer the fix the problem?

http://aewheel.com/wheels_detail_specs.cfm?id=262 (I HAVE THE 20's)

what lift can i run with these?!

Also would Toyo mt's 35x12.5x20 be too wide for my wheels? thanks for the help!

Ok first of all that rim is not really designed for a lifted truck. The tire you mentioned is cutting it real close with that narrow of a wheel. All lift companies will give you the right backspacing required for their brand of lift so decide what lift you want and go from there. I would also recommend losing the 3" spacer and going to a 2".

i would get new wheels if you can

i had Moto Metal 951's 20x9 with 6.18 backspacing
with Toyo Mt's 35/12.5R20
3in body lift with 2.5 as

i would say there was an inch of clearance between the tire lugs and the upper control arm
and it would rub every time i go into the driveway or turn the wheel full lock.
it was really annoying, and thats not something trimming can take care of lol

also too much backspacing can ruin the look/stance of a lifted truck.

if your keeping those rims, i would def go with a skinner tire, and an A/T and not M/T with large side lugs

also your rims are skinner with more backspacing, so in would be even closer
you can try it, but i would get new wheels if you can

just my 2 cents

Edit: i believe you can run stock specs with the rancho lift

haha yeah they would be easier to keep clean thats for sure! :P youve got a sweet looking set up man.

do you know anything about aals? i have a 3 inch leveling kit in the front and it looks level from the tire to the top of the fender but the VERY back by the trailer hitch sits really low.. :S it looks really tall from the front coming down the road but almost shorter than stock from the back even tho the fender to tire heights are the same... would a 1.5 inch all fix this problem?

yes, it will.

It's not hard to install, and it will give you the added height you want!

You'll have a factory stance again, just higher, you'll have the rake but who cares.

i must of missed out on something when i installed my AAL, taking those clips off was a pain in the ***, so was taking the center pins out.

But the AAL will give you the height you want.

those wheels wont look that good with a lift either because the truck will look to tall and not wide enough with the bad backspacing..

Thanks, I think im going to probably go with a 5" BS on 18x9 rims when I get rims. Seems to be happy medium with 5". does this sound about right? or maybe a 4.5" bs.
