Would this work...

well i have 2006 fx4 6" full traction lift, 35" ,and 17". I want to go up to 37" tires so what i plan on doing is 2" adjustable bilsteins on the front and 2" aal(give or take .5") in the back but i was afraid that would sit to low because its a inch lower in the back right now and i dont like when they sit lower in the back IMO but would these work for 3 or 4 inches http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...&t_pn=SKYR3440 and does anybody know how this lifts it is it the same as a normal AAL

i think those are the same as an AAL, just have a smoother ride than a normal AAL. thats just my guess. so your wanting 3" more of lift in the rear to match the 8" in the front? if you do that make sure your rear shocks are long enough. go with a 2" AAL and it will be about the same as it is know.

never heard of full traction lifts. there a website?

i have never seen those but i am assuming they are long leafs, istead of the normal AAL being a shorter leaf, those will be around the size of the middle leafs as opposed to the overload leafs.

and the rear shocks may not be long enough, im putting an AAL onto my truck next week with some coilovers and i bought some bilstein 7100's, just measured the shock length for it and got a set of universal ones from top gun customz

i added my AAL and for the longest time it was perfectly level, now my front has dropped down about half an inch, so when time comes around to replace shocks im gonna lift the front another inch. if you go just the leaf, you should be fine with shocks. my AAL was only 1" tho.

eff1fitty, my leaf's are long leafs. but BDS didn't know there was a leaf design change apparently so really mine need to be cut, but i haven't had an issue so i haven't bothered. the ride stiffened up but i like the ride better now

how much is that kit? looks pretty nice

i have a 6" BDS lift, with a BDS AAL it sits a tad higher in the rear now, so eventually im gonna try and get it level again. but for what your wanting i would get a 2" AAL (take a few weeks to settle to the correct height) and a slightly larger block and you should be level or a tad rear high. shocks will probly need to be replaced as well
