Suspension settled

I have a 2005 fx4 with a daystar leveling kit in the front. My truck doesn't seem to sit as high as it used to and I want to put the 3" supelift lift kit on. I am thinking about trying to keep my spacer and stack it with the strut extension, how long do you think my ball joints would last? Does anybody have any pics of the 3" superlift kit installed?

these 3'' kits are garbage. either lift the suspension properly with a full suspension lift, or purchase a 3'' body lift. your ball joints, cv angles, etc. will be too extreme with the 3'' suspension lift. generally, stacking the strut extension with the leveling kit is frowned upon as well, for reliability/safety reasons.

well if you don't care about angles or safety or any of that you could try getting bilstein adjustable shocks and see if you could get it on and everything bolted back up. but i would recommend a body lift or an actual suspension lift

I agree. I wouldn't do it.

i dont think that you would even get the truck bolted together, if you could you would not be able to hit a bump otherwise your truck would bottom out the shock.. I would do the new strut assembly by bilstein and ditch the spacer

there is no way you would be able to get the upper control arm into the knuckle to even bolt it up, thats 5.5" of lift on a stock set up, best bet is to just purchase a 6" lift.

plus not taking into acount your tie ro ends probably wont bolt up, the CV's would just be rediculous.
