You can do that if you want but i wouldnt if i were you bc ppl will prob just laugh and it will look really weird with stock tires.

just imagine my truck with stock tires. i have 35s but also have 8inches of lift

thanx for the reply.... the reason i was wondering is that i have a long drive from where im getting the lift put on and where i live . when i get home i will put 35''s on but for the 3000 kilometer drive i would like to just run my stock 20's

I don't think you can because of the backspacing. I would check with Fabtech but mine is a Fabtech and it wouldn't work. They had to leave off the front tires while they were waiting on my rims.

its just gonna look weird but dont be doing turns faster or such things i would think bc your stock tires on a lifted truck you know what i mean? And take pictures as you get it and when you get back

If I am not mistaken, the Fabtech will only work with no more than 5 inch of backspacing and the factory wheels are 5.5.

The stock 20's will definately work with the 6" fabtech lift. I know this because i drive my truck everday with a 6" fabtech and 2" AS and the 20 inch stockers. I love them. I drove the truck about 5 miles to the shop after i got done putting the lift on with the 20 inch stock tires and stock 275-55-20 tires and had no problems. They mounted up the 35X12.5R20 procomp extreme all terrians and only the driver side rubed because of how i put the kit together in the drive way but it was no big deal.(basically just a millimeter of difference from one side to the other can make one side rub and since i did it in the driveway i had a little difference.) They threw on 1/4 in spacers and i have had absolutely no problems. But actually with the stock tires you dont have to worry period because they are alot more narrow they will deffinatly not rub at all. i dk how many miles 3000 km is but no matter what you have to get it aligned before you leave and you will be fine.

Here are some pictures of my truck and the clearance with the 12.5 inch wide tires.

I had some pics of my truck with the 275-55R20's on it before i took it to the alignment shop but they are at home i will upload them when i get home for you to see.

I hope your right but your truck is an 04 and his is an 06 I would hate for him to go all that way to find out they wouldn't work.

Also I wouldn't trust any factory rim on a 12.50 inch wide tire and 1/4" spacers. Are you just trying to kill yourself? The factory rim is 7.5 inches wide. A perfect rim width for a 12.50 tire is 10 inches but you could go a little lower but definately not 7.5,thats just suicide.

it pretty sure it can be done. i have a rize 8in and when i got my repair order i had to put the stock wheels and tires back on. there was only 1 BIG problem. when the lugs were tightened all the way up the inner rim rubbed against one part of the suspension (cant remember the name of it right now) and before i realized it i drove a little and tore the inside of the rim up, just grinding it dow. but with a 1/4in spacer it worked...though mine werent stock 20, i think there only like 18s...heres some pictures of it. looks pretty funny huh? haha
