front end clunking

front end clunking

ive got a 01 250 that when i turn the wheels. all the the way left or right ..lock to lock i get a clunking noise. almost sounds like something is hitting the floorboard. the ball joints are new the dealer replaced those right before i got it. its fine otherwise smooth on the highway..steering is tight. any help would be appreciated. o yea..it is a 4wd also.

does it have a lift? I had the same problem after I did my lift it sounds like the track bar that mounts to the front axle.

hmm you might check the sway bar end link make sure there tight you may even have to add a washer. Hope this helps...

cv joints going bad? I heard clunking in mine took it too ford and think they replaced the cv joints and havent heard it

ball joints, tie rods, drag links, sway bar links check all that. Our work SD did this and all this was replaced. Now the clunk is gone
