I know that the biggest most go with a 8" lift is 37's. But i really like the height that im at now with 8" plus I love huge tires stuffed in a wheelwell. It looks tough, plus gives it a real stout stance. It also makes more sense to me when it costs about $404 i think it was from 4wheelparts for 37" Mickey Thompson MTZ. But I could get a set of 38" Kumho Venture MT from TireRack for about $320. My questions would it just take a hell of alot of trimming to stuff 38's, or maybe wheel spacers. Right now I have 18-9 Moto Metal 951's with I believe has 4.53 backspacing. Will that be a problem? Cause in my mind either it wouldnt work to put a 15.5" wide tire on a 9" wide rim, or it would just make it a really bubblie tire. Don't get me wrong I will probably end up going with 37's because it is more practical, but it wouldn't be crazy to run 38's cause of the look and price. Ohh yea and I have read up about gearing too, so no worries they are in the plan. Any thoughts are welcome, and thanks for the input in advance.
Im running 37's on 6 inches of lift and they rub at a point in the turn a little ways past mid turn, but you get over it. sometimes it bothers me but 99% of the time i dont ever turn my truck far enough to deal with it. i just drive it like its a semi haha. I would assume 38's on 8 inches of lift would be the same concept, maybe not as harsh as mine because its only another inch of tire instead of wo inches like me, ( they only reccomend to run 35's with 6 inches of lift)
there is what mine look like

But i do want another 2" of lift
And if you going to get some tires, dont opt for Kumho's, just dont.
