i suck at spelling, "why NO homebrew leveling kits?"

I agree. They are so cheap, why waste your time making one.

Id rather spend the amount on a leveling kit you know works, especially when it isn't much to start with. Than to waste my time trying to make one where I could possibly mess up.

If you do make one, remember that the lift is not linear. You don't use a 2.5" thick spacer to get 2.5" of lift. The 2.5" lift spacer is actually like 1 3/4" thick and the 2" is like 1 5/8".

The offset design prevents the coilsprings from touching the control arms at full suspension droop. This doesn't hurt anything but most people don't like hearing the clunking noise it creates.

so from what ive read, 3 inches is to much, eats ball joints. how many ppl agree with this.

and does anyone have an actual measurement for a 2.5" spacer

i was hoping to go 3" in front and 1" spacer in the rear, but like i said, ive read the 3" eat ball joints.

the only thing i'd have to buy is u-bolts

The AS 2.5" leveler is exactly 1.68" in height. I just measured with a Vernier caliper.

I have the supposive offset Autospring kit and when I take my tire off the ground the upper control arm still touches the coil. Autospring said this was normal when the tire is fully off the ground. Are they lying to me or do I really have the offset kit?

The offset is .25". Not much but, I guess, just enough.
