I'm looking at getting the AS 2.5" leveling kit so I can squeeze in some bigger rubber. Any unusual wearing problems I should worry about because of the change?

 

leveling kits change the geometry on all the joints, so you could experience problems with ball joints wearing pre-maturely. i had to replace both of my upper ball joints after having a leveling kit for maybe a little over half a year. needles to say i ditched the leveling kit and got a suspension lift so it worked out. personally i dont recomend leveling kits but some people here i have seen have had no problems with them at all, so maybe its luck of the draw?

 

how did you know your ball joints were bad? how many miles and what year truck?

 

Thanks for the info. I might go with a suspension lift to avoid replacing parts yearly.
