I totally back up my skyjacker lift 100%. I MYSELF am saying i would NOT want a kit with a spacer or stacking blocks is all i said. Not knocking on anyone if you couldnt read that from my last post. I honestly dont care what lift you have. I just know what my next truck will have on it.
nah, i was just saying that there were 2 kits, found that out a few weeks ago and was like o dam, so just passing the word along. spacer was not my first choice either but at the time i didn't have money to go with a different kit, but im glad i got the BDS. when its time for new shocks i will be replacing them with some longer struts to eliminate the spacer.

I have a BDS lift and love it also something to think about is BDS has a lifetime warranty on all there parts so if you fk it up take it to a dealer and they replace the part.

The pro-comp is damn cheap price wise too.
low protection cross member? find me someone that has this lift and has had issues with thier cross members. there was a thread on something about cross members a couple months back and everyone posted saying they would think you would have to jump these trucks like hell to break a lift kits cross member. the spacer is not the greatest thing in thw world which is one reason why im buying coilovers. and im running a 5.5" block in back not the ones procomp provides. as you can see in my post i didnt say one thing about my lift being awesome, at all, i just simply stated my opinion about rough country.

well I cant thank everyone enough for all the great feedback. It does sound like most kits are pretty good, so I'm probably gonna go for the Rough Country due to the $1000 price diff. Not that I'm cheap, just that I'm not gonna be off roading much, got other toys for that. As far as for good deals up here in the great white Canadian north, I deal with a small company called Rog&RonMotorsports. All they do si off road stuff.

Thanks again to all.
