Question Shock Question

Ok, this may be a dumb question. I was checking around to get prices on replacing the shocks on my 04' screw and a few of them said the computer listed that my truck as having struts in the front not shocks.....? I was pretty sure they are coil over shocks and I could just replace the shocks, but it was more than one shop that mentioned this so I decided to ask the real experts I just want to make sure i purchase the right thing.

They are coil overs. Why any parts system would show them as struts is beyond me.

They are similar to struts, but the correct term is coilover shocks. I'd suggest going with Bilstiens. THey are much, much better than the oem shocks and feature adjustable spring preload so you can lift the front of your truck to level it if you wish.
