Torsion bars

I got my 2006 f150 4x4 in january and i want to level it out. I know that you can adjust the torsion rods on the 97-03 f150s to lift up the front 2 inches. Can you do the same on the new f150s like mine?? Thanx!

your truck does not have torsion bars. you need to buy a leveling kit. here is what you want. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Auto-...=p4506.c0.m245

Just keep in mind. If you decide to mount those 35's on aftermarket wheels, you are gonna have to find some almost identical to your oem wheels or lift your truck more.

i dont plan on gettin new wheels for a while but what im probably gonna do is after i get the as level lift im gonna just get a 2 or a 3 inch body lift. that should give me plenty more clearance. then when i have the money i can get some new wheels.

body lifts are very expensive to have installed on the 04-08 trucks and they only make the 3". i think i have seen on here including the body lift and install you are looking at close to 1000. you can get a pro comp stage 1 susp. lift for 1000 then you just have to cover the install.
