maybe...?
maybe...?
okay, I have been doing the search and looking and reading through some threads... I have seen a lot of people talk about the Bilsteins 5100 shocks and how they could give you 2" of lift... So I was thinking..
I am currently running just the 2.5" leveling kit, and was wondering if I could use these shocks (the 5100's) on top of using the spacer for the leveling kit and raise up the front another 2" and then get a bigger rear block (4 to 5")... isn't stock 2" bock? or even an AAL... And achieve a 2" overall lift in front and maybe 2-3" in back? Please someone correct me if I am wrong... I guess the reason I ask this is because I am running a 20x8.5 with 4.5backspacing.. and I want to be able to run 35x12.5 tire.....
does this seem like it could/would work or am I completely off... Im not a mechanic here so just reading different posts and wondering if this set up could work. Thanks guys, love this forum... addicted to reading it!

It will work one way, Leaving the bilsteins set at a Zero lift setting and running your spacer ontop of the coil still, but why? There is no chance the 2.5" leveling kit plus the bilsteins set a 2" would work, i dont think you could even safely drive it, or drive it at all for that matter. Why not save up and ditch the current wheels for something that would allow you to run 35's? or go full on suspension lift?
no you can not do it. thats basically like doing a 4 1/2 leveling kit if that makes sense to you. you can do a body lift if your wanting more height, and not wanting a 4 or 6" lift. you would not even be able to put back together your front end with the set up you were thinking.
Okay, thats all i needed to know... was reading a lot, and guess i just was reading to much and something popped in my head... but guess i will look else where.. Thanks guys
