pro comp springs?

I found coil springs on ebay from pro comp for my 2wd 02 f150, they claim to lift my truck six inches. is this safe?

sure it is safe.... but only with other parts..... lifting a truck takes more than just swapping out springs.... especially if your looking to go 6 inches. im not sure what the setup is for the older BS 150 2wd's, but im guessing you would need longer shocks, different knuckles, brake lines (possibly), and maybe even more stuff. it also wont do anything for the rear of the truck.

your best bet is just to buy a complete kit if your looking to lift. you usually get a much better deal rather than going piece by piece.

the reason i ran into these, was because i found a 6.5 inch spring tech lift, which came with 3.5 inch knuckles 3 inch lift coils, upper control arms for the front. for the rear it came with 4 inch blocks and longer u bolts, along with shocks front and rear. I heard the springs and control arms were not that good, but im not completely sure. so thats why i was searching for springs, but i just wanted 3 inch springs and combine them with the springtech knuckles and rear block, oh and get new upper control arms too.

well if you add those 6" springs to the new knuckles, that will give you 9.5" up front.... that might be too much to get the control arms back together, since the angles will be pretty steep.

yea that will be way too much. i like the 6.5 inch lift because I dont want to regear yet, so that lift would allow me to fit some wide 33's and later on when I could regear, I could get narrower 35's.

When I said knuckles I meant spinles lol. I got a new plan, I will get the 3.5 inch spindles up front, and add a 3 inch body lift. One question though, what size block should I use on the back? I want it to sit level, or maybe even a little bit nose high.
