Leveling and Tires

I know it has probably been asked before, but if I do a leveling kit, what size tires can I then put on? does it look silly just leveling and putting on bigger tires (wife doesn't quite want me spending money on a lift right now, but want to do something), and does anyone have pictures of truck with leveling kit and bigger tires. I am gonna go with 2.5" level kit. I have 05 Super Cab.

Thanks All !

I would'nt spend the money on tires and a leveling kit if you dont have to now. If you are going to get a suspension lift later, wait until then, get the lift you want and the bigger tires at the same time. Otherwise, you might end up with tires that will be too small for a suspension lift later..happened to me. I know it sucks to wait but its well worth it in the long run if you think about it

Point taken, Thanks for the response, but since I won't be getting a lift I am gonna go with the level kit, just tryin to decide what size tires to put on and to try and see what it would look like.

Thanks

You can go with a leveling kit or go with the Bilstein shock's that can level the truck up to 2 inches. If your truck is a 4x4 you can go with 33,34 or some 35 inch tires provided they are on the right wheels.

Leveling & Tires

I went with the AS 2.5" kit and went with 35's. Specs are in my album if you want to check it out.

Is your wife in charge of everything that you do? Why do you need her permission? Man Up! Get your lift. It's not as if she gets your permission for all those purses and shoes.

As a general rule, on the new 4x4's with a leveling kit, you can fit 35x12.50's using the oem wheels or 33's with wider aftermarket wheels.
