I'll I pull is a 17' boat . So, I really can't answer that . I orginally, bought the bags just to raise the rear after a 2 1/2" leveling kit left the front a little high. But, There are other members here that have the same system and actually pul heavy loads . Im sure someone else will chime in .You may try to search the threads ?

i have the same set on my truck...... the heaviest i have hauled in the bed is 4 drums of water.... weighed about 1550-1600 lbs..... i pumped them up to about 60lbs, and she barely squatted, maybe like 1/2". so yes, they work great !! easy install, and they offer flexibility for different loads.

as for the bracket deal, i also had to have a local weld shop fab longer brackets for me. then i had them powder coated and back in business. i wish firestone made different bracket lengths other than the 2"..... anyone who lifts their truck will see why !!!

I have helper bags since I'm dropped a ton, they help out tremendously. I can still tow my camper and throw just about anything in the back with no problem.
