well in that case...what are you waitin for, get the the 37s!
why get an '09 though? i'd say wait for the diesel F-150 to come out and get one of those bad boys.

If you got enough money to even consider gettin an 09 i say just get a rize lift and sell ur pro comp on craigslist or something, just an option.

They're going to have diesel engines the new F150's? Haven't seen that anywhere yet. Doesn't matter though, if I was going to buy a diesel i'd just get a 250. But i'd much rather have the 150 in a gas engine the way diesel is right now. Not the mention the 150 is a lot more comfortable. I'm especially looking forward to the cooled seats option on the new 09, because it gets damn hot in the summer around here.

F150Mudder, it would be a huge pain to take out my procomp lift and install the rize when I can just add the body lift. Not to mention it'd cost more money than just installing the body lift.

Yes, eventually. For a while, there was talk it would come out in '09 but of course that got pushed back to I think 2011 now. It'll be a smaller diesel than whats in a F250, so I would imagine it might get pretty good gas mileage.

And honestly, body lifts aren't that bad to install. If you did your suspension lift alone, you can definately do your body lift. It's a really simple install, it just takes time and patience. If you don't drive that truck every day, its easily something you could start on a weekend and work on in the afternoons during the week by yourself. IMHO I wouldn't spend the $500+ some places want just to install it.

Cote, I agree that I CAN install the body lift myself. But I hear from everyone that for some reason the 04 and up F-150's are a real pain when it comes to installing a body lift. It has something to do with the bolts underneath the extended cap portion of the truck that connect to the frame. Getting to them is suppose to be such a problem. Just because of that it's probably worth it to me to pay around $500 to get it installed in a day, and not have to worry about it. I guess I probably should read up on exactly what it is though that makes it so difficult before I get it done.

Basically, if you pay for installation, your saving yourself quite a hassle.

definately keep the truck if it`s paid for and put 37`s on it will look bad*ss then get the 09 if you want! I agree with Keith body lifts are not bad I don`t know why people get it in they`re heads that body lifts are bad, I`ve been running mine now for over 2 years and have not had the first problem with it. Good luck on whatever you decide to do with your truck st1nn3tt either way you go it still will look awsome

Right now I've got a 6'' ProComp Stage 1 on 35x12.50 ProComp XTerrains. I've had that set up for 8 months now and still love it.

Thanks F150rider. I agree that the body lifts look good. Yours looks really good, that's basically exactly what I want to do with mine. I just got my windows tinted 15% all the way around yesterday, and this weekend i'm gonna attempt to paint my mirrors and door handles white to match the truck.

If it's paid for, keep it. Especially if you're going from an older NBS truck to an 09. To me, all the little things they've updated don't seem worth the hassle of payments on another truck. Now if they released something that's completely new and different looking, then I'd think about it.

Well whether I keep it or not I'm still going to buy an 09. I've had my truck for 4 years now and I've always bought a new truck once I paid off the one I had. So the payments are fine. I really like some of the new features that will be on the 09's too. This time though I'm gonna try an FX4 instead of the Lariat, because it comes with all the options I want.
