Yeah I did put my truck up on autotrader to sell because I'm buying one of the new 09's when they come out. I didn't get any good hits on it though so i'm just going to trade it in or keep it. Obviously if I do the body lift and 37's i'm keeping it.

I think body lifts look even better on the 04+ than the 97-03 when done right, they seem to hide all the body lift droop a little more. And tow hooks are probably the easiet thing to hide by either taking them off or just by buying chevy tow hooks and remounting them inside the frame.. Theres a solution to hide everything with a body lift pretty much, look at nooq's truck, doubt you'd even be able to tell he had one unless you looked at it real close or if he told you he did.

But..i'd keep it and go with 37s, should look great man

If I keep it I won't be able to lift my new 09 when I get it. So that's the current dilemma. But I most likely will keep it and go ahead and get the extra lift, then just leave the 09 stock. I'm checking around to see what I can get a 3'' body lift with gap guards for.

Yeah I bought my suspension lift and wheels/tires from 4wheelparts. I live less than 2 miles from them. I think on the body lift i'll go ahead and let them install it too because it's a pain on my truck and I don't feel like messing with it.

No i'm not going to re-gear it because it's not a daily driver. If I drove it everyday I would definately regear. I'll let you know how much they quote me for on the lift, gap guards, and install. They quoted me $800 for an install on the suspension lift, but I just did it myself.

yea 4wp usually seems pretty high. and they have alot of stupid fee's. my install qoute was $650, then a $65 shop fee, then $120 for alignment, and they had a think even a tool fee. i obviously did not go there to have mine done.

I don't want to trade it in because they're only gonna give me $10,000 for it, and it's paid for. I'm a firm believer in "if it's paid for, keep it." Especially in this case when I have $5,000 in extras in the truck and it's in perfect condition.
