How do you know?

Okay, so this is the stupid question of the day.:o I have this new to me 2004 FX4 supercrew. It sits very level as I look at it, haven't measured it but looks level. How in the world can I tell how it was leveled? I'm not sure what I'm looking for when I look at the front springs etc. I'm assuming the front is lifted up some because it sits pretty high.

Any help is appreciated and I can take being laughed at as well

Oh and I did search on here for the answer but haven't come up with it, only the different lift/level options.

Take some pictures of the front spring and strut assembly and we will be able to tell you in no time, or take pictures of your leaf spring shackles, if for some unfortunate circumstance someone lowered the rear to make it level. Or take pictures of the whole truck and maybe it really isn't level?

Hmmm. Well, this was the second result I got when I searched "leveling kit pictures"

Leveling Kit Install

Look at the pictures, and you can see the difference. If the shock assembly looks nice and flush up at the top, then it is probably not leveled. If it looks like a spacer is bolted to the top of it, then you probably are leveled.
