2/7 drop

i laughed when i heard this so i thought i would pass it on.

my friend was planning on bagging his 2003 f150 screw 2x4. instead he hired a kid im also friends with to drop it. he dropped it 2" in the front by cutting the coil and to drop the 7" in the rear he put the leaf's below the axle and used a 3" block (bought from autozone for 20 bucks) between the axle and leaf's. the block that was used was on the truck was a block the kid had takin off his truck btw. i was laughing so hard when i heard this kid actually paid for this.

o and another thing. when my friend was actually planning on bagging his truck the kid who did the work sold him all the stuff from his old truck that he had takin off that wouldnt even work for his truck. parts i know he bought was a tank to run bags instead of compressor, regulator, rotted bags, and a few others things i cant think of.

A 2/7 drop? I thought the prerunner look was only popular with lifted trucks.

i can try and get some pictures from the kid. i just moved so i cant just go snap a few. i think i remember hearing after 5" on 97-03 f150's you needed to notch the frames

5" is very close to the frame 6" is axle on frame, you physically can not go past 6" without a notch.

5" is do able but rides rough because you are so close to the bump stops. Thats why i brought mine back up 1" in the rear.....
