Dirt Logic / Sway Away / Kings coilover question, 04 and up

Been searching through the forums but can't find an exact answer.

Background on my truck before you read.

05 fx4, 6 inch skyjacker lift, 325/60r20.

I wanted to upgrade my shocks/struts on my truck and I also don't like the 6 inch spacer that came with the skyjacker kit.

I have been looking at the King/Sway Away coil-overs. Here is my question.

If I buy the King or Sway Away or even the Dirt Logic coil-overs, can I lift the truck another inch or two?

Do the coil-overs have a threaded perch that you can thread up or down? (I get a really bad tire rub if I go too fast turning into a driveway so I'd like the coil-overs to fix this little rub.)

For the rear do they sell a 1 or 2 inch add-a-leaf kit?

Thanks!!!

Im not familiar with swayaway shocks but with the fabtechs and kings you will be able to adjust them up 0-2".

No one that i know of sells a one inch add-a-leaf. Many companies make 2" add-a-leafs though. If you needed an inch or less id look into shims.

FX4life, thanks for the info.

I might just look into pulling the blocks altogether and getting a bigger leaf set from deaver. I might throw a whipple on the truck and I am thinking the blocks could turn into a problem. Oh well, that is down the road for now.

my bds add a leafs i believe were an inch and a half or atleast thats what they were when i first installed them. now they have settled down a little. first few hundred miles the truck will ride higher in the back than you want. once it settles down you will get the stance you are wanting. installation is super easy. me and my friend installed mine in about 3 1/2 hours but we were slacking off and taking out time. ride is obviously a little stiffer but i like it much better than before.

I highly recommend the deaver packs. thats what i have and love them. I do still have a small(er) 4" block. Just get some trac bars if your planning a whipple down the road.

Just an update, got some custom machined sway-a-ways on the truck and they are amazing! Love the ride now. No more brake dive or body roll.

I'll get the pics up after work.

I'm not sure exactly what they did on the rear piggy backs but they sure took their sweet time. I'd say around 4-5 weeks just for the rear shocks.

My only gripe is they did not send me the spanner wrench for the coil-overs. I called & e-mailed, they never got back to me. I said F it and just bought one locally.

Wow, thats too bad. Maybe they don't treat us "normal" truck guys as nice ?? Not sure. Sorry to hear about that. And yes, they tend to take their sweet *** time on anything, but I have liked every product I have seen from them. I want a set for the truck BAD. About how much did your whole set end up costing ? if ya don't mind.

I can't remember the exact total and I put in two orders at the time. But I think around 1700 - 1800 for the whole set. The rears were almost 100 bucks more than I thought they would be each.
