Ok, what do you think about the old torsion bar twist with longer shackles in the back to gain a 2in lift? Sounds like it would work but also sounds shady. I am sure it would make a stiff ride but what kinda damage could it cause? Also would it make a difference if you already have a 6in suspension? Tell me what you think guys.
it works great. ride is alittle stiffer but not unbearable, as for the back you will need blocks or an extra leaf. longer shackles will lower the rear

depends on how much extra thread you have left on your u-bolts. when i added mine i had plenty of thread left so i did not have to buy new u-bolts.
a lift shackle is actually shorter and therefor does not allow the spring to "flatten" as much as it should. not a big deal to some but for someone who likes to flex out the suspension id stay away.
