Higher Lift!!

I currently own a '98 F-150 2wd with a 7.5" Fabtech Long Travel Kit (a-arms, spindles, springs/shocks). I want to go higher, but don't want to do a body -lift! Does anyone know of any add-on kits for my lift kit, or do I need to swap out my kit for a new one? Thanks for any help!!

You may be able to add some 2 inch Daystar coilspring spacers, but I'm not positive. I'd go with a 3 inch PA body lift.

There isn't much you can do besides add a coil spacer, body lift (they came out with a 5 in. by the way) or take it off buy a soiled axle swap and just dont add a front drive shaft.
But my buddy had a 4 door with a 7.5in fabtech with 3in body with 38/15.5s so hope that helps

O and there is a guy with a 12-22in bullet proof lift some where on hear, hes got fox shocks all blacked out.

Bulletproof Ford F150 2wd 12" Lift Kit '97-'03
[BS-F15097031]

Description:
Bulletproof Suspensions is widely recognized as a leading U.S. manufacturer of high quality suspension kits for lifting trucks and SUVs. In business since 2000, the Bulletproof team lives and breathes off road racing, and combines more than 80 years of experience in the design, fabrication, installation, and use of suspension kits. They have been featured on over 25 magazine covers to date, and in 2007 won the Ford Product Excellence Award at SEMA. Bulletproof Suspensions kits are the real deal. Why settle for anything less?

All Kits Feature:

* Unbeatable durability. Bulletproof uses heavy wall DOM and ?" or thicker plate to take most any off road abuse.
* Great pride is taken in the finish and appearance of their suspension kits. All welds are clean and smooth, the whole package looks great, and their powder coat finish lasts a long time.
* High-grade heim joints that are exceptionally strong and provide long life.
* The geometry of the suspension kits maintains many of your vehicle's factory specifications for safety and performance, while increasing the caster gain for improved handling.
* Extra heavy-duty ball joints, another evidence of them going for overkill on the ruggedness.
* Bulletproof Suspension kits are alignment friendly. Most any shop can easily align them.
* All suspension kits come with a lifetime warranty, no matter how extreme the off road usage.

This Kit Includes:

* One piece cage
* Steering Drop Down
* Dual Shock Hoops
* Dual Shock Upper Control Arms
* Upper Control Arm Drop Downs
* Coil Springs
* Sway Bar Drop Downs
* Impact Bars
* Steel Braided Brake Lines

Optional Accessories:

* Uni-Ball A-Arms
* Leaf Springs
* Std. Shocks or Fox Racing Shocks

Notes:

* Tire size 37" - 38"

Applications:

* F-150 Ford 2 Wheel Drive '97-'03
* 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003

What's wrong with a body lift? I had to add one to mine because, at the time, couldn't get a large enough lift kit. I've got a total of 10" of lift on my 2WD. It's been 5 years and I haven't had any problems.

No problem with my PA body lift. Im on my second truck with one. You can always go with coil spacer and add-a-leaf if you dont want a BL. Or both!!!

I also have the 3" PA body lift (plus 6" suspension) on my truck and have not had any problems with it, I would not hesitate to put one on my next truck either

Yep, sound like you need a BL. Just curious, why don't you want one?

I'm hesitant to go with the body lift b/c i've heard of issues with stretching
wiring looms, coolant hoses, and also the steering shaft.
I've asked about the coil spacer, and some people advised me against it because supposedly it sacrifices ride quality and proper alignment. but at less than $150 for a set, I think i'm willing to take that risk! has anyone had problems with the coil spacers??
