check out sportztrailers.com, or PM crash lucky13. thats where i got mine, they have the best price by far for our trucks at $160 shipped, which is about 20 or 30 dollars cheaper than anyone else.

But body lifts aren't great if you crash your truck.

If you crash your truck that hard, I'd say you've got other thing to worry about

bullsh*t! wandell personally saw a 97 on a body lift that bent its frame by driving into a tree. the frame had to be replaced. all of the spacer blocks were intact, and still fastened down by the kit body bolts. if there is a single person whose advice i would trust concerning lift advice on this site, it would be wandell.

Just to keep stirring the pot & fanning the flame:

I still like suspension lifts over body lifts.

i prefer suspension lifts as well, and yet i still have a body lift. a body lift raises the body off the frame 3'', you only gain clearance in the wheelwells, and a little under the axles from the oversize tires. whereas a suspension lift raises the body, frame, engine, transmission, etc, and provides more true clearance. offroad, a suspension lift would be preferred for this reason.

bear in mind, that the only reliable way of lifting a 97-03 enough to clear 37-38's while retaining the torsion bar based IFS is by stacking the body and suspension lift. it is not like the coilover based IFS of the 04-08, in which reliable 8''+ suspension lifts are available. a bit OT, but, under no means is a properly installed body lift unsafe.

I do too. If money was not an issue I'd have a 6 inch Fabtech along with my body lift and some 37's.

Thanks guys! IS there any difference between a 97-02 body lift and a 03 body lift???
I will prob just run 33's maybe 35's. I went yesterday to get my Torsion bars cranked so it wouldlevel my truck, and the guys told me I didn't have torsion bars. IS this right or do I need coil spacers??

97 - 03 2WD trucks had coil springs and the 4WD trucks had torsion bars

edit: and no there probably isn't any difference in the body lifts. If there is, it's minor. I installed a body lift I had ordered for my 2000 2WD extended cab on my 2001 4WD supercrew without any problems.

ITS AN 03 4WD. SO I GUESS A 02 3IN BODY LIFT WILL FIT MY TRUCK..... SO WITH IT LEVELED AND A 3IN BL WHAT SIZE TIRE WILL LOOK GOOD. i dont want to much of a gap and i dont want it to see crowded..
