control arm lift?

control arm lift?

my freind has an 08 gmc z71. well he went to an offroad shop and the told him he can get a 1" lift from control arms. he said there called A arms. is this possibile to do on my 04 f150 fx4. is there a such thing? also will it affect ride quilty and its bolt on.

are you talking about a spacer? alot of people are going to give you a hard time for this and say use the search function but its called a leveling kit. they come in 2",2 1/2",3" for our trucks. most people recommend 2 or 2 1/2 because the 3" puts to much strain on your front end b/c of the angles it produces. most people recommend the Autospring leveling kits. its just bolt on and really easy to do. after installation (if a shop does not install it) you will need an alignment done. let me know if you need any help

No LCA or UCA for the 2004+ F150 is going to give you lift by itself. I don't know anything about the GM stuff ...
