proper differential drop kit?

proper differential drop kit... does anyone make one? I would like to put a 3" leveling kit on (have 2" now) and rear add-a-leafs with 35's.

Can it be done? maybe use a drop kit from another lift?

i have noticed that other leveling kits for other makes... such as toyota and chevy make differental spacers to drop the dif and retain factory angles. why not for ford?

they do...but u need to buy a REAL lift kit. procomp, fabtech, rancho, superlift, trailmaster, rize, cst,bds...just to name a few...there is no point in trying to drop the diff with a leveling kit. the upper ball joint and tie rod angles are still steep...do it right or face the breakage possibilities

a 3'' leveling kit is too much... do it right and lift your truck properly, either w/ a body lift or a suspension lift. otherwise, you're really gonna **** up your front end geometry, and break expensive components.

What year of vehicle? 2WD? 4WD? Don't do a 3" spacer, that's way too much. 2.5" is even pushing it. If you want more lift you'll need to go with a real lift.

I'm trying hard to remember what mine looked like stock, but I don't think they make one for Ford because I'm pretty sure it can't physically be done. The differential is too close to the piece of the frame (driver side lower control arm pocket) that curves and has the bolted crossmember on it. That's why that piece is cut off during the installation of lift kits for our trucks.
