Lifting my first truck
well, since you are looking for all of this with a good price, i would recommend looking at www.4wheelparts.com. look online and write the prices down. then give them a call and act like you have no idea what the prices are. you will be amazed at how much they will offer as a discount to make a sale. then work them over like a dealership.... they work on commission, so they will work with you. they also offer bigger savings for package deals, and since they actually own pro-comp, you will find you best deals with them.
Call my buddy Josh (mSal mentioned him)
He'll set ya up right. Best prices by far. Best customer service by far. Kinda a no brainer IMO.
His number is: 1-866-922-0093
I would suggest the Fabtech basic 6" lift (its what I am running) and then going with any of Pro-Comps wheels. They got some real nice ones:

For tires, since your on a budget, its hard to suggest the Toyo m/t. Its probably the best tires for what your wanting to do (look aggresive and last long on street) but they also come with a hefty prices. Your next best choice would be either the BFG A/T or the Pro Comp Extreme A/T . Both great tires, both last a long time, both give good performance off road. Look great too !
You don't NEED a programmer, and thats something you can put on the bottom of the list and buy when you can afford it. I have the smaller 4.6 engine, 3.73 gear, lift and tires, and I don't have a prgrammer. I even tow pretty often, and have zero problems. With your bigger engine, you iwll feel it even less then I do, and you'll be fine. Re-gearing is another option to keep in mind, will give your factory powerband back after the new tires. This also can be done later down the road, when money is easier to find !
For my lift, tires, wheels, new dif cover, and new tranny pan I paid roughly $4k. I got great deals on everything though and was able to do some bargaining/trading. You can expect to pay something similiar with Crash Lucky13 . That was delivered to my door. I did all my own work. Made it seem like a whole new truck. Love it still to this day.
Any questions or concerns at all, feel free to e-mail me. I have put together a number of these trucks up on lifts. Also done plenty of other mods for these trucks (only worked with both v8's so far. Have yet to know anyone locally running the 4.2 V-6)

I would steer clear of them IMO. I don't like em. They have one of the WORST reputations in the 4wd community. Take a look on the BB website. They just don't seem legit, they try to rob anyone, and have had numerous complaints/problems.
Also, 4wheel will NOT price match with Tirerack. Just another fyi.
I just thought Id like to add, I hate 4 wheel parts also
I would definitely steer clear of them they will in the end rip you off, when they tell you at first it sounds like a great deal then they "happen" to find like a bolt is bad and charge you $$$$ for it, idiots... sorry for going off topic good luck
TECHNICALLY 4 wheel parts doesnt own them, but it's sad because in a way they do. and yes, 4 wheel parts works on commission.. meaning they are trying to get EVERY last penny from you. call somewhere that has people that DON'T work on commission, and you'll USUALLY get the best prices and awesome customer service.
i LOVE some of the places that have the "price match" guarantee... i'd rather just get the best price up front? but that's just me
