Rear Add a Leaf???

I have a 2008 Fx4 supercab with trailer tow package. I have a 2.5 leveling kit on the front. with 305/65/R18 tires. I am planning on pulling a 28ft camper and dont want the truck to sit low in the rear. Will a Add a leaf be the best solution for this??

An air bag system would be best. An aal would be the next best thing.

Wandell- The truck, empty sits high in the front. I put my fourwheeler in the back, which weighs, about 600lbs, and it goes down a little more, but not much. If i put the AAL on it, do you or anyone else think it will affect the way it drives as far as making it hop when the rear end breaks loose?? I am thinking an AAL will stiffen things up back there.

It will stiffen it up a bit but from what I hear its hardly noticable. I am goign to add a AAL soon. I have a 2.5" leveling kit and I towed a 6000lbs travel trailer and my rear end sagged slightly.

FX4LIFE- Did you have the AAL installed on your truck? Did it stiffen the rear end alot? What do you mean by it having a slight rake again?? Is it the 1" 1/2 AAL??

I looked in the classifieds and couldnt find it. The classifieds here really suck by the way. No search feature. I am interested in your AAL kit.
And I am not too far away so shipping shouldnt be too bad.

Compared to the deavers I have now and stock. yea it got noticeably stiffer. was it uncomfortable, not at all. I had no problems with it.

here is the truck with a 2.5" level kit, 1.5" AAL, and 305/65/18 BFG's

BIGMAN- just shoot me an email. Where you located at in TX?

I agree with the above. For anyone who tows or hauls, an AAL is the next best route over a blocks. Best would be the air bags, but obviously more expensive.
