Used truck?

Bought a 05 scab 4x4 and it came with 315x70x17 BFG KO'S. The only rubbing I have is in reverse full turn left. I thought 35'' tires would not fit unless a leveling kit was installed? How can I tell if there is a body lift installed?

I got my 2 1/2'' AS kit in today and will put it on tomorrow. I'm going to start moding and I'm gonna have alot question. By the way GREAT SITE.

Steven

The bodylift will be easy to spot! Just check crawl under the bed and check and see if there is any big spacers between the bed and the frame.

Body lifts on the 04+ is rare thing to see but its possible.

Id check and make sure they didnt install adjustble bilstiens!

post a picture!

If the tires are mounted on the oem wheels they are probably rubbing the control arms at full lock. No amount of lift is gonna cure that.

The front is 2 1/2'' lower from tire to fender than the rear.
Should frame be level with the bottom of the truck?

When i first bought my truck used it came with 35in nitto mud grapplers. It didnt have wheels on it or a body lift or leveling kit. It was fully stock. And at 4wheelparts they said that some tires depending on the sidewall and the width will run with stock wheels on a stock truck will a little bit of rubbing. mine only rubbed the bottom control arm when i was fully turned right. But when i bought my pro-comp 6inch lift i got some moto metal 951 18inch with 5.5BS and i still have my 35inch nitto mud grapplers. But i only rub sometimes when fully turned to the right. And it rubs on the lower valance. that doesnt answer any questions but i thought i would share. cheers
