help me decide.

i'm trying to lift my truck but i still cant decide what to do. i dont kno if i should do a full suspension lift or just a simple body lift. im looking to go up between 3'' to 4'' and i do minimal offroading. what would be the pros and cons. also i have i would get the kit installed in ct and i have to drive down to fl at the end of the summer so would the lift have any problems come into effect during the drive?

If you only want 3 or 4 inches, a body lift would be great. I have one and love it. The only downside of a body lift is you are limited to three inches of lift.

Go with the body lift to start. This way, should you want more, it's just a suspension kit away. You'll already be at the body lift max, so anything on top is going to have to be a suspension/spindle lift.

I went the other way; 3 inch spindle kit, and i just ordered the PA body lift today. I'm happy, but also kinda locked into a 3 inch suspension lift ( i could have just gotten the 6 inch suspension AND THEN the body ... ) but swapping out and buying isn't in the cards ...

well if you got the money, i would go with a 4 inch rancho. buddy had a supercrew waldoch with a rancho and 295/75/16's on atlas's and it was a beautiful setup. but a body lift is probably 1/3 of the as a full suspension after install. just depends on how much you wanna spend.
