Leveling Kits

I want to put a leveling kit on my 08 F150 Supercrew 2WD. Im afraid that a 2" level isnt enough and a 2.5" is too much. So I was thinking about the 2.5" level with an add-a-leaf spring. I now it will make my ride stiffer but it will increase my payload. With this setup, I think I'll get the right hight for I'm looking for. Any thoughts or suggestions? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

Sounds like a good plan.

I wish I would have went that route. I'd say go for it.

I have the Pro-Comp Coil Spring Spacers and Add-A-Leaf combo on my truck. You stand the chance of still having a "rake" with your rear higher than the front. However, once you load your bed with stuff, you'll be level. As opposed to having a leveled truck, and then having the front higher than the rear when the bed is loaded.
