King F150 Shock Kit

I have an 07 FX4 SCREW with a 6.5 ft bed. I am looking for function as much as looks. Is there any reasons why I would want to go with a lift kit instead of the King F150 Shock Kit with a Total Chaos upper control arm? It seems to me from eye-balling the designs of most lift kits that in order to reduce the angles on the half shafts that ground clearance is seriously compromised. I plan to go with 33's or 35's.

depends on what you plan to do with the truck. if your just going to drive on sand then just get the kings, crank them a few inches and be done. if your going to jump it id buy a long travel kit as well as kings.

It just depends on how tall you want to go.

No plans to jump, but I've used my truck on the trails at Anza Borego Desert and other truck trails in So Cal to get to remote camping and hiking sites. Climbing and decending rutted, rocky trails are the toughest things that I expect my truck to do, where clearance and the ability to keep the wheels planted are helpful. The enormous size of my rig keeps me from getting into the most challenging places.

What size tires do you want to go with? I mean that's the factory on what to do here. I had Kings with the Rize 8" lift and 37s.

I will go with 305/65 18's, just under 34 inches.
