Added an AS 1.5" AAL ((Pics))

Well awhile back i installed a 2" AS Leveling kit on my 05 Supercrew, I liked the height but noticed a slight sag in the rear....which drove me nuts.

So I installed a 1.5" AS AAL, I'm very happy w/ the outcome. It brought back some of the rake but it really compliments the Leveling kit. It now rides better as well.

Before w/ AS 2" leveling kit:

After w/ 2" leveling kit and 1.5" AS AAL:

All you need now are larger tires.

nice... wow you can tell it lifted it a little cause in the "before" picture, the top of the rear tire is level with the top of the frame.. in the "after" picture, the top of the frame is a good 1.5" from the top of the tire... i may add this AAL on top of my 6" fabtech so i can clear 37's

Looks great. You can't tell from my pic because it hasn't been updated but my truck looks just like your when I added the leveling kit. It has been driving me nuts too. Now that I have seen what it looks like, I am going to buy one. I have new tires and rims going on this week. Hopefully I can get the AAL on too.

Thanks guys..........The truck is an 05, The ride is much better now w/ the AAL than it was w/ just the leveling kit.

I would like to get some wheels and tires, but that'll have to come down the road.

Thumbs up

Looks great!

i put a 2.5" level on the front and it is certainly higher up there now. a 1.5" AAL on mine would be perfect.

where/who is a good source for the AAL??

thanks!

Looks Great, real difference.
I think I need to do the same.
May-be you guys can help me out, I just ordered 22x9.5 wheels with 325/50r22Nitto Terra Grappler Tires 34.84" tall. For my new 08 screw FX4.
I think I need the 2.5" leveling kit.
I would also like the 1.5 spring for the back for apperience but also for function.
will this make the truck high enough for the 34.8" tire?
Where do I find these parts and do I need somene to install? How Much for parts? How much for install?
Thanks For the help.

i got my aal from autospring on ebay.i recommend that everyone with a level kit get the aal.there is no way to actually level the truck.the 2 inch spacers add 2.5 inches in height.your 2.5 spacer more than likely added 3 inches.also wth the aal you increase the payload too.thats why i recommend that over a block.
