I have been looking at the various lifts and would like to know something and see some pictures please. It seems many of the lifts are using a large spacer above the Front Coil Over to get the added effect and not using a taller spring and shock. So can I see pictures of the front strut on some of the lifted trucks?

 

Yeah, Pro COmp uses a spacer on their standard 6 inch lift. It's just to keep the cost down. They do offer replacement coilovers as an option. The Fabtech kit comes with new coilover but still offers their adjustable Dirt Logic coilovers as an option.

 

Mainly concerned with the BDS and RIZE 8" Kits as that is most likley the route the kid will take.

But still would like to see the various ones. I know the Ford Racing uses a big spacer and I was just so turned off when i saw that. I thought to myself WOW that looks cheap.

I personally would rather spend a few extra bucks and do it right.
