Trailmaster lift issue's help!

I am getting some poping from the suspention in the front end of my 01 4x4 screw. I looked under it just after buying the truck and this is what I found. Why would trailmaster make this so close to the swaybar? Can you guys tell me if this is supposed to be like this or does anyone have this lift on thier truck? I think its a four inch lift and I get the poping when I turn lock to lock.

There is no way to remount it under the bracket. Its wierd why this thing is mounted like this and not right at all. Also my sterring is really loose and sloppy feeling, is there anyway to tighten it up?

There is a bar that connects to the pitman arm and this bolts to that bar and its called a "steering support link". I taled to trailmaster today and they said that its ford fault for running sway bars that have different diameters!! I told them they design their lifts for the truck not the other way around!! So there R&D department is working on a resolution for me. (BS)

Im tring to figure out a fix on my own, any idea's???

well my best idea is move the hiem joint to the bottom and bend it at the threads...we used to do that on the racecar, should work out well for you. Also make sure you adjust it out to make up for the extra distance traveled.

no problem man. You might have to take it all the way off and put it in the vice, it looks beefier than the ones we bent on car. Also make sure you put enough bend in it to where it will have play if you twist it. (not in a bind). That is what the bend in the heim end is for.
